PE & The Arts
Welcome to the Faculty of PE & Creative Arts
To establish positive relationships in order to create an inspiring environment, enabling students to develop the confidence to express and succeed.
The PE and Creative Arts faculty strongly believes in inspirational and engaging teaching in order for students to achieve their very best. Our lessons across the board combine both practical and theoretical elements to provide all of our students with a varied and rich education.
We are extremely lucky at Lutterworth to have specialist teachers teaching in all of our faculty areas who offer a rich and varied extra-curricular timetable. The staff in our Faculty are extremely committed to providing all of our students with positive and inspirational experiences outside of the classroom. We are extremely proud of our extra-curricular offer; every day there are activities and sessions going on in the morning, breaktimes, lunchtimes and after-school in order to provide our students with the opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge outside of the Curriculum. We often take our students on exciting trips, providing students with unforgettable experiences; once every two years we take our students to Kenya, Skiing and New York and on top of this we offer the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Sporting fixtures and competitions, Dance and Cheerleading competitions, Theatre Trips and Visits, Acappella and singing competitions, as well as Musical and Dance Productions, on top of our other extra-curricular sessions.
The PE Department is made of 9 Full-time, specialist teaching staff. All teachers are experienced in teaching at all levels and between them, run over 7 very successful courses as well as an extensive extra-curricular programme. The results in PE are outstanding year on year at all levels and many students continue their studies in PE at University.
