College News 13th April 2018

4 (school) weeks until examinations start!

Its not long now and Year 11 students quickly got into the swing of things after the Easter break by sitting their second set of Pre-Public examinations this week in Maths & English. They are really showing signs of some excellent examination preparation - well done to them!

Canopy Gardens

A massive thank you to all parents that have donated thus far through to this project parentpay. We have raised almost £1000 from parent contributions and coupled together with some grants and other donations we have been able to take the first step of purchasing 8 table sets for the Garden project. Below is a picture of the purchased tables in situ taken on a rainy day this week which proves the need why we need to keep fundraising for the overhead canopy and landscaping! So, please keep the donations coming in!

Friends of Lutterworth College (FOLC) - Colour Run -Saturday 7th July 2018

A date for all your diaries - On Saturday 7th July 2018, FOLC are organising a 'colour run' from the College grounds - if you are interested in getting involved in helping to organise please come along to a meeting in the Q Zone (ELC building) on Thursday 19th July from 6-pm.

All funds collected will go towards the canopy project (see above).

Lanyards & ID cards - 'No Card - No sale'

A reminder that it is critical that students have their ID cards with them at all times not least in order to purchase food.

As per our communication out to parents this week we are moving to a strictly 'no card no sale' policy in the canteens from 1st May 2018. We have been issuing new ID card holders and lanyards to all those that need them over and these have been written back into the school uniform policy.
